Building A Legacy

There are different ways to fulfill your philanthropic intentions beyond your lifetime.

Start your legacy now with a Donor Advised Fund. Perhaps you want to involve your family, and actually see the good you are doing as you recommend grants to Canadian charities. Then, to ensure that your legacy lives on after you are gone, leave a gift to the DAF by naming the Raymond James Canada Foundation as a beneficiary in your Will.

Perhaps you are not ready to fund a DAF yet. Establish a fund now and donate your assets when you pass.

In both cases the Raymond James Canada Foundation can be named as a beneficiary in your Will, allowing you to move assets from a taxable estate into a tax-free, philanthropic vehicle. Your Raymond James advisor can provide helpful testamentary language for inclusion in your Will.
